Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver & Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team. This role is more than just driving—it requires craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a professional presence in our clients’ homes. You will be responsible for delivering high-end furniture safely, assembling and installing pieces, hanging mirrors and artwork, and performing minor furniture repairs as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and décor to clients’ homes and project sites.
- Assemble, install, and position furniture with precision and care.
- Hang mirrors, artwork, and other decorative pieces to professional standards.
- Carry out light furniture repairs, touch-ups, and adjustments on-site when required.
- Ensure all deliveries reflect our high standards of presentation and service.
- Maintain delivery vehicles in excellent condition and ensure all items are handled safely.
- Provide a courteous, professional, and respectful client experience during every interaction.
- Support the wider team with warehouse, showroom, and logistical duties as needed.
Skills & Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Proven experience in furniture delivery, installation, or related hands-on trade (carpentry, joinery, or similar a plus).
- Strong practical skills and ability to use tools confidently.
- Ability to lift, move, and assemble heavy, high-value items with care.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
