We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time /Part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries of our products to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in our organization by representing our company to customers and ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities:
Safe Driving: Operate a delivery vehicle (e.g., van, truck, or car) in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
Timely Deliveries: Ensure on-time deliveries to customers, meeting established delivery schedules and deadlines.
Product Handling: Safely load, transport, and unload products, ensuring the integrity of the items being delivered.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders with a professional and courteous attitude. Address customer inquiries and concerns as needed.
Route Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes, considering traffic conditions and optimizing delivery times.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil, tire pressure, and fuel levels. Report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including delivery receipts, invoices, and any other necessary paperwork.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the dispatch team to provide status updates, address changes, and handle unexpected situations.
Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, and ensure the proper handling of products during transit.
Professional Appearance: Present a neat and professional appearance, wearing company-provided uniforms or adhering to a dress code, as required.
Qualifications:
- Must have Valid driver's full-license IRISH or EU
- A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus but not required.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS or map apps.
- Strong customer service skills with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages or products as needed.
- Reliable and responsible with strong time-management skills.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires frequent driving and may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
- Some deliveries may require lifting and carrying of heavy items.
- Full-time/Part-time position with flexible hours and the possibility of occasional overtime.
