Job Description
We are seeking a Full Time Van Driver. Applicants must hold a full clean Driving Licence with less than 3 penalty points. You will be responsible for delivering various items of office products to businesses mainly in the Galway/Mayo Region, together with occasional routes throughout the entire Country. You will also be required to load your van each morning at our warehouse for successful delivery of office products to clients nationwide.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team with various job roles including driving, furniture assembly and any other general warehouse tasks.
Important Attributes
· Must be over 25 & hold a full B Driving Licence (C1 7.5 ton would be an advantage).
· 1 Year Minimum Previous Experience in a similar role is desirable.
· Knowledge of load securing & van loading essential.
· Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.
· Must be technical minded, be quick learner & skillful with your hands.
· Multitasker with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
· Focused on excellent customer service/ willing to go the “extra mile”.
· Good communicator & a Team Player.
· Technical minded & knowledge of assembling flat packed furniture an advantage.
· The successful candidate must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail & customer care focused is a must.
The Role
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 0800am – 1700pm.
SALARY
Negotiable for ideal candidate.
20 Days Annual Holidays.
In house staff discount available.
