A qualifed dental nurse is needed to join the periodontal team within a multidisciplinary specialist dental practice. This is an exciting job especially for those interested in assisting with surgical procedures. The role can allow the successful candidate to participate in all or some (depending on what is of interest to the candidate or what their specific abilities are) of the day to day requirements of a busy periodontal practice eg, chairside assistance to the periodontist for surgical, non surgical and implant procedures, chairside assistance to the hygienist when needed, sterilising of instruments, surgery turnover and surgical set ups, administration work, treatment co-ordinating with patients and the prosthodontic and oral surgery departments within the practice, stock taking and stock ordering, accounts, triaging of new patient referrals, oral hygiene promotion, taking of dental x-rays if the candidate has the neccessary dental radiography qualification and dental photography. This role will suit a motivated dental nurse, willing to learn and join an existing hard working but good fun dental team. The role can be part time or full time and will be well paid based on experience. Training will be provided for the specific role.
