Dental Nurse Position Dun Laoghaire Dental
We are looking to recruit a Full Time Dental Nurse to join our Team at Dun Laoghaire Dental. Experience is a bonus but not necessary. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to use initiative. This role will require the application of the highest standards in patient care whilst working in a collaborative team-based environment.

Start Date: immediate
Work hours: full-time position, Monday to Friday –no weekends, 39-42 hours per week
Vacancy details and Responsibilities:
· 5 minutes walk to Dun Laoghaire Dart Station, €6 euro day parking close to clinic and close to local bus routes
· Friendly team environment
· Practice Support
· Provide assistance to the dentist or dental hygienist in the delivery of dental treatments.
· Assist at the chair-side during all dental procedures.
· Preparation of surgeries for dental procedures.
· Preparation and sterilization of dental instruments and the disinfection of equipment.
· Recording of dental charting and maintenance of treatment records.
· The care of patients including assistance in medical emergencies.
· Assistance in the taking of dental radiographs.
· Appropriate clerical and administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment. (desirable)
- Outstanding communication skills- putting patients at ease
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
- Reliability and commitment to delivering a positive experience for our patients.
- Nurse Experience (Desired)
· Proactive and able to take the initiative to find solutions to issues as they arise
