Our goal is to extend children's daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy. With 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 60 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.
Our Rathfarnham centre is looking for a qualified Childcare Practitioner/Early Years educator to join their amazing team on a Full-Time Permanent basis. We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and responsible individuals that can work as part of a team and be ambassadors for Kids Inc Principles.
The Role:
- Create a safe, caring and engaging environment for all children
- Support the holistic needs of the children and co- construct the learning by observing children's actions and interactions, documenting their interests and develop activities that build upon these observations.
- Care, educate and supervise the children while considering the child's wellbeing and development physically, socially and emotionally; as well as their language and cognitive learning and development needs
- Supervision and involvement in meals and mealtimes as opportunities for social learning and development
- Observe and record children's progress and build trusting relationships with parents and guardians.
- Ensure a safe, clean and tidy environment according to company H&S rules and relevant regulations.

Your Profile:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- You'll need a minimum QQI level 5 childcare qualification or a recognised qualification listed on the approved list of qualifications from DCEDIY.
- Fluent English speaker with good communication skills
- Full Flexibility to work and team spirit
- A positive approach and genuine love for children
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in a Creche or Childcare environment
- First Aid, Manual Handling or Food Safety training
All successful candidates will need to go through a Garda Vetting check and provide a Valid Police Certificate (applicable to employees who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months since over the age of 18).
