The Role:
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to support our growing business. This is a customer-facing role on the retail floor, with additional responsibilities in the warehouse and online order fulfilment. You’ll be helping customers find the right products for their pets, maintaining an organised and welcoming store, and assisting with stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist customers with queries and product recommendations
- Process sales transactions and operate the till
- Pick, pack, and dispatch online orders
- Restock shelves and ensure correct stock rotation
- Maintain store presentation by facing off shelves and managing signage, pricing, and labelling
- Support in cleaning and maintaining retail and staff areas to ensure a safe, tidy environment
- Assist with stock handling and movement within the store/warehouse
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well in a team as well as on your own initiative
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reasonable level of physical fitness (role involves regular movement and occasional heavy lifting)
- Patience and a genuine interest in pet nutrition and care
- Basic computer skills (for online order processing and till work)
- Flexibility and reliability – able to work weekends as required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: €13.50 per hour
