Electronics Quality Control and Material Control Technician

An Exciting Role for A Professional to perform Incoming Inspections on PCB Assemblies, Fault Findings, Maintaining Inspection Records and Reworking/Soldering of Components to IPC Standards.

The Role also includes Processing of Incoming/Outgoing Shipments, Organizing Product Storage, and Stocking New Materials.

Responsibilities:

In This Diverse Role, You’ll Assist with a Range of Quality, Production, Stores and Dispatch Activities:

• Inspecting Printed Circuit Boards according to Industry Quality Standards.
• Soldering Surface Mounted and Through-Hole Components using Soldering Iron and other Soldering Equipment.
• Control of Non-Conforming Product and Documentation of Non-Conforming Events.
• Reporting Quality Issues to Production Manager and external Suppliers.
• Manage Customer Complaints, Investigation, and Implementation of Necessary Corrective Actions.
• Developing and Maintaining Company Inspection Reports,Updating Relevant Matrix.
• Receiving Incoming Goods from Couriers into Stock.
• Managing the Movement of Materials and Finished Products.
• Processing Incoming Products in ERP System (Goods Received Note)
• Resolving Issues and Discrepancies of Incoming Stocks with Purchasing Department.
• Organizing Multiple Kits and Pick Lists Ensuring Correct Components Selection.
• Monitoring and Keeping Kit Completion Status Up to Date.
• Ensuring Customer Specific Shipping Requirements are Met.
• Dispatching Outgoing Goods According to Daily Shipping Schedule.
• Foster Close Working Relationships with Associated Departments: Production, Purchasing, Quality and Accounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education Level required: Degree in Business or Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Inspection and/or Material Control is an Advantage.
• Certification in Inventory Control, Soldering (IPC), or Material Handling is a Plus.
• Knowledge of Electronic or Mechanical components would be an Advantage.
• Ability to read Technical Documentation, including Schematics and BOMs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
• Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills.
• Attention to Detail and a Proactive Attitude towards Problem-Solving.
