Overview: We are Mulligan Fencing, a successful and well-established specialist contractor in the manufacture and installation of security fencing, railings, gates, and noise barriers since 1997, now seeking to add a Civil Engineer to our team. This exciting and dynamic role involves surveying job requirements on-site, providing workshop drawings using AutoCAD, and collaborating closely with clients, production, and an element of supervision of installation teams. Location: Dunderry, Co. Meath, C15 EP60
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to gather levels, measurements, and other necessary data for producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for railings, balustrade and gates.
- Deal with technical queries, gain approvals and issue workshop orders.
- Organise and produce material lists.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and strong verbal, writing, and documentation skills.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English with at least 3 years of relevant experience with a Civils or Fencing company.
- Degree in engineering.
- Competent in MS Office and AutoCAD, with experience working with and reading 2D plans.
- Ability to accurately interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Clean full driving license.
- Methodical approach with a can-do attitude.
- Enjoy working with different project teams and improving quality, safety, cost, and output.
