We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an experienced florist to join our close-knit team at Balla Florists, a well-established studio-based business with over 20 years of experience in weddings, events, and bespoke floral design.
Our studio operates on a Monday to Saturday schedule with occasional flexibility required for events or funeral work. We are a creative, supportive team that values quality over quantity, with a strong focus on weddings, funeral tributes, and bespoke floral orders.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- An experienced florist (minimum 1 year hands-on experience)
- Confident in floral design with strong flower knowledge and creative flair
- Skilled in customer service and calm under pressure
- Organised and proactive in a fast-paced studio environment
- Comfortable working on weddings, events, and funeral work
- A team player who takes pride in their work
- Ideally experienced in wedding prep, funeral tributes, and delivery coordination
Role Includes:
- Creating high-quality bouquets, arrangements, and wedding/event florals
- Conditioning and managing fresh flowers
- Working with our wedding briefs and prep sheets
- Managing customer communication via phone and email
- Occasional local deliveries (driver’s license preferred but not essential)
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation in the studio
