Golden Bake (www.golden-bake.com) are an Irish owned frozen food manufacturer based in Coolock, Dublin 17. We produce the most delicious ready-to-bake pastry and cookie products that you have ever tasted and we distribute them to retail and foodservice customers in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
We were founded in 1987 and currently have more than 130 employees, a 100,000 square foot facility, including a brand new state-of-the-art facility, and the ability to produce up to 50,000 products per hour.
What We Need Help With
Golden Bake have an opportunity for a motivated Facilities Manager to join our team. This role will be reporting to the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for all core facilities and site maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for either completing or coordinating external contractors to complete all building and site servicing and maintenance works, including but not limited to:
- - Plumbing servicing and repairs
- - Electrical servicing and repairs
- - Fire alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- - Racking servicing and repairs
- - Production and non-production flooring and coving
- - Site water systems
- - Refrigeration systems
- Responsible for all facilities-type maintenance. This will often mean working with different departments on site improvements and upkeep
- Maintenance and upkeep of the site
- Maintaining the service contracts and servicing of access control systems including perimeter gates, emergency exits and doors
- Responsible for site security
- Management and collection of the food waste compactors, waste bins, skips and recycling bins
Job Details
- This position will be a Monday-Friday role with core hours of 9am-5pm (some flexibility can be given on start/finish times). Occasional weekend availability will be required.
