Job Title: Buyer / Designer for Jewellery
Description: Brandwell Irl Ltd is a leading supplier to the retail trade of Branded Accessories. Our Brand names include; Gionni, Marie Claire Hosiery, Andrea Bucci, Portland, Dice, Something Special which all have a wide product range including - Handbags, Jewellery, Sunglasses, Umbrellas, Hosiery, Gifts, Luggage.
We are currently looking to fill a vacancy for our Accessories Department for design of our Accessory products
Requirements: Previous experience in a design role would be ideally preferred. A background in Design (college or previous experience) is a Must.
The candidate should be PC literate and have a good knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop & Microsoft office.
Innovative, Dynamic, Organised & most importantly Commercially-Minded fashion focused individual.
Hard-work and quick-learning are essential elements of the role involved. This vacancy will be suitable for someone with a flair for fashion - yet keeping their ideas & designs Commercial.
Job Details: Responsible for the Design and development of our Branded Accessory products.
Responsible for research, interpretation and presentation of trend information, creating CADs and presenting these to Buyers and Director in charge.
The candidate would also be responsible for factory correspondence, price negotiations, sample spec & follow up details, showroom displays and working within a team.
Travel would be required for both inspiration trips around UK / Europe & sourcing trips to the Fare East.
Salary: Competitive & Depending on experience.
Location: Dublin 15
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Work Hours: 39 hours per week over 5 days.
Overtime & Overseas Travel will be required .
