As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for:
A skilled tradesperson who wants to step up their game, get off their knees and out of the rain, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and share their expertise in a more technical and rewarding role.
Alternatively, a professional or a graduate with a background in construction who wants to get out of the office a few days a week and combine theory with practical, hands-on field experience.
You will work alongside a supportive team and gain valuable experience across a wide range of projects and environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Consult with clients, understand their concerns, and provide expert, solution-focused advice.
· Conduct on-site testing, including electronic integrity testing, water testing, building diagnostics, thermal imaging surveys, and drone surveys.
· Compile detailed reports of findings, including clear recommendations for remedial works.
· Undertake new build installation quality checks and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
· Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of the project.
· Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Experience in roofing or external building maintenance preferred but not essential.
· Motivated, driven, and able to work well within a team environment.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, email, and online document portals).
· Good reporting skills with the ability to present professional reports to clients.
· Full, clean driving license.
· Ability to travel to locations across Ireland to meet client needs.
