Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is currently seeking to recruit a confident, outgoing and professional Fitness Instructor to join the Team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and wellbeing and dedicated to creating a positive, motivating atmosphere for clients of all fitness levels.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Welcome and introduce new members to the gym, carrying out comprehensive inductions
- Design and deliver individualised training programmes tailored to members' goals
- Provide one-on-one and group fitness consultations, including personal training sessions
- Ensure the Leisure Centre, including the gym, pool, and changing facilities, is clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times-maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards is a vital part of this role
- Lead and instruct fitness classes with energy and professionalism
- Supervise the gym floor, ensuring equipment is used safely and maintained to a high standard
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable support to both members and hotel guests
- Assist with the daily operations of the Leisure Centre, including reception duties and administrative support where required
- Promote health, fitness, and overall well-being in a welcoming and supportive environment
Ideal candidate for this role:
- NCEF qualification or equivalent is essential
- Lifeguard Qualification is essential
- Experience in teaching group exercise classes
- Experience in writing fitness programmes
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Pool plant qualification would be an advantage
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU
