Role overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our production area, storage and dispatch area ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) to move finished goods to designated storage area.
- Palletise and wrap products for storage and shipment.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to load trucks
- Manage space and stock within the cold-room.
- Clean and maintain the production area, storage and dispatch area to ensure they are hygienic and efficient workspaces.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork related to dispatch of goods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Valid PPT and Counter Balance Forklift licensee
- Ability to operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) and counter balance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Lathaleere, Baltinglass, CO. Wicklow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
