We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Aldergrove Flying Station - Crumlin, Antrim, BT29 4BP.
You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:
Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- Serving food, making pizzas and other basic food prep.
- General kitchen duties.
- General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service.
- Till work and taking payments.
- Restocking items and stock rotation.
- General cleaning of front and back of house.
- Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
- We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable, however full training will be provided for this multi-service role.
- A great team player with a flexible approach to duties.
- Due to the location of this site, a driving licence is essential or a reliable form of transport to get to work.
