Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
Process guests check-ins and check-outs efficiently and ensure accurate billing
Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions
Handle phone, email, and online bookings, ensuring accurate input into the system
Carry out all Reception duties as per the agreed standards
Make the necessary preparations to deal with arrival of customers with advance bookings and the check in procedures are completed correctly
Ensure all guest queries either in person or by telephone are answered in a prompt and professional manner and escalate to management if necessary
Communicate and liaise with the Accommodation Manager/Supervisor in relation to rooms status, VIP's and allocations
Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately
Coordinate with maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
Deal with Lost Property as per hotel policy
Requirements
Previous experience as a Receptionist in a hotel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Proficiency in Opera
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
