Opportunity: Full Stack Engineer (Permanent, Hybrid)

We are now strategically expanding our capabilities by establishing a dedicated Digital Transformation team. As a foundational Full Stack Engineer on this new team, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and robust full-stack software solutions.
Reporting directly to the Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with highly skilled colleagues from engineering and scientific disciplines. Your work will directly contribute to next-generation sensing, data acquisition, and analysis products, enhancing our core mission of ensuring system availability and product integrity for our clients in biotech, pharma, and medical devices. This autonomous role is for a proactive individual who can independently drive technical initiatives from concept to completion.
Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:
· Own the full feature lifecycle, from design and development (Python/Django, React) to final deployment.
· Develop intuitive responsive, and accessible user interfaces with React, focusing on clarity and usability for technical users.
· Build and manage our secure AWS infrastructure, using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and compliance best practices.
· Shape our engineering culture by defining development standards and promoting best practices in security, code quality, and CI/CD.
· Translate complex scientific challenges and evolving business needs into elegant, well-defined software solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
· B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
· 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
· Strong proficiency with Python and the Django framework.
· Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript.
· Expertise in PostgreSQL database design and administration.
· Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD environments.
· Deep understanding of web security principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
· A proven track record of taking initiative and delivering projects with minimal supervision.
· Must hold a full working permit for Ireland.

- Experience with other backend or database technologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Prior experience working with data in biotech, pharma, or other regulated GxP environments.
