Full time Kitchen Assistant

Key Details:

Full time kitchen assistant.

6.15am to 2.15 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

€14.00 per hour

We are looking for a Kitchen assistant to help the chefs with the day to day activities in a busy production kitchen ,keep our kitchen organised and support our cooking staff.

• Assistant Chef with prepping of meals
• Loading ovens as per instruction from Chef's
• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Keep food preparation areas and equipment clean and ready to use
• Keep the storeroom organised , ensuring rotation of stock.
• Assist Chefs with packaging finished product.
• Compliance with Safety Regulations: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring that all kitchen practices meet health standards. This may involve obtaining food handler certifications and participating in training sessions.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.

• A fast learner with an interest in kitchen work

Previous experience working as a kitchen with food a definite advantage

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role is an required

Good level of written and spoken English

High levels of honesty , integrity, and personal hygiene

Team spirit, solution focus, and can do attitude
