Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant– Part time- Galway City

The Role:
We are a dynamic dispensary team working with a range of other healthcare professionals involved in the dispensing, preparation, and supply of medicines in accordance with the regulations and processes in Ireland.
We are searching for a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join our team for a part-time role, to commence by the end of August. Candidates must have pharmacy dispensary experience (ideally working with the Irish medicine’s system).
The role maybe suitable for someone who has previous pharmacy experience and is a student who can cover some evenings and some days during the weekend and bank holidays. The usual evening shift is 6-9pm, while we work 12-6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The Person:
- You will be customer-focused, reliable and have leadership skills working as both part of a team and on your own depending on requirements.
- You must have dispensary experience (ideally working with the Irish medicine’s system) demonstrating familiarity with the dispensing process, stock management and understanding the PCRS/GMS requirements
- You will have attention to detail and strong customer service and organisational skills and be able to assist keep the pharmacy in good standards of presentation and organisation.
- Fluency in the English language is a minimum requirement.
