Ayrton Group are seeking Traffic Management Operatives to join our dynamic Traffic Management Team. We have multiple locations across Cork City on long term construction projects. Locations include Glanmire & Littleisland (near train station stop) ability to get to site is essential - own transport an advantage.
Duties
- Assist with the loading & unloading of vehicles with equipment, traffic signs and cones on-site.
- Carry out Stop/Go systems, road closures and diversions, set up & operation of traffic light systems and pedestrian management.
- Operate two-way radios with a team of Traffic Management Operatives.
- Communicate effectively with members of the public and contractors alike.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public and any other person affected by your duties.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Safe Pass Card required.
- Manual Handling Certificate required.
- Full driving licence an advantage
- Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
- Reliable and flexible with the ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time).
- Commitment to health and safety.
