FLI Precast Solutions is recruiting for General Operatives to join our busy Post-Production team. This role reports to the Post-Production Supervisor and is part of wider post-production and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out final surface finishing works on precast products.
- Ensure products are finished in line with quality standards.
- Operation of hand tools.
- Operation of lifting and site transportation equipment, including gantry cranes, when required.
- Assisting and supporting in other aspects of the post-production process.
- Ensuring workstation is kept clean and clutter/hazard free.
- Maintenance of a consistent high level of productivity across products while adhering to quality specifications.
- Act as a role model for health and safety practices within team.
- Completion of other reasonable tasks which may be assigned by the Post-Production Supervisor and/or their designees.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in manufacturing on construction industries an advantage.
- Trade or previous experience in plastering or product finishing an advantage.
- Awareness and respect for health and safety rules and procedures.
- Keen attention to detail with pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility of duties and working hours.
- Proven record of good timekeeping and attendance.
- English language fluency, both written and spoken, essential.
