Established in 1980, National Truck & Van Rental has accumulated extensive expertise in commercial vehicle hire over the years. As a part of the Johnson and Perrott Motor Group, we are excited to invite applications for a General Operative to join our Ballycoolin team.
Job Summary:
As a General Operative, you will assume a pivotal role within our Rental team maintaining and preparing vehicles for rental, including cleaning, refueling, and ensuring they are ready for customers. Responsibilities also include organizing the vehicle yard, collecting parts, assisting with general duties, and occasionally delivering or collecting vehicles.
The key role responsibilities include:
- Preparation of vehicles for rent to include cleaning the vehicle inside and out.
- Filling vehicles with diesel and adblue as required.
- Collection of parts as may be required by the garage.
- Overall responsibility for the parking of vehicles on site
- Maintenance of the general condition of the yard.
- Assisting with general duties as may be required from time to time.
- Occasional Delivery & Collection of vehicles to and from customers/outside service centres.
Skills Required:
- Friendly & flexible with a can do attitude.
- Clean Class B Driving Licence (Class C would be an advantage but not a requirement).
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
