We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious General Operative & Reach Stacker to support day-to-day operations in our workshop and yard. Reporting to the Site Supervisor and Workshop Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with strict health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Safely connect and disconnect tanks for heating processes
- Collect and deliver HGV parts and materials as required
- Shunting trailers
- Operate the container reach stacker/handler efficiently and safely
- Assist with inventory control and stock management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard to support a safe working environment
- Clean, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment regularly
- Perform general site housekeeping duties
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by Management
The position involves ensuring the company, its depots and its employees are operationally informed and accountable of all Operative matters.
Who You Are:
- Must hold Leaving Cert or equivalent
- Must hold a valid, full, clean category B drivers' licence
- CE driver's licence would be an advantage
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar role
