Mullins Foodstores are recruiting for a number of full and part time General Operative positions at our 24 Hour Maxol Service Station on Pearse Road in Sligo.
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing individuals to join our team right now. Potential candidates should be available to work some morning/day and/or afternoon/evening shifts during week days and therefore these positions will not be suitable for secondary school pupils or full time third level students.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Providing a premium customer service experience on a consistent basis to all our valued customers.
- Operating our tills systems and processing payments in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Keeping the store tidy, clean and hygienic and hazard-free at all times.
- Stocking shelves with merchandise.
- Receiving, scanning, checking and storing the delivery of stock.
Skills required for the job:
- Have a friendly and engaging personality with good communications skills.
- Be comfortable working with members of the public.
- Should be a good team player and be willing to accept instruction and feedback to improve productivity and performance.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
- Previous experience in a Food Service or Customer Service / Shop environment would be an advantage but not a necessity as full job training will be provided for the right candidates.
