We are a friendly, busy General Practice based in Wickow Primary Care Centre. We are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic practice nurse, initially as cover for maternity leave but this may lead to a long term position.
The role is 2-3 days a week (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) starting mid November 2025. There may be some flexibility with regard to days.
Our aim is to offer excellent patient care to our valued patients and to ensure our practice is a positive and progressive place to work.
Candidates must be registered with the NMBI, have excellent communication skills and be flexible to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous General Practice experience is advantageous.
Duties will include but are not limited to
Phlebotomy
Cervical smears
Ear Lavage
ECGS/24 ABPMS
CDM including patient education/advice
Immunisations including baby vaccines/travel and flu
Skin and wound care
Assisting in minor procedures
