The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Global Logistics Specialist role will make an impact:
Support Warehousing & Freight teams in achieving their process and operations objectives.
Contribute towards Improved cost management, through analysis of Warehouse and Freight invoices and costs.
Support Analytics and KPI measurement activities.
Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Procurement, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders (Freight Forwarders, LSPs) through clear communication and managing expectations
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics providers to ensure timely Transportation while addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and contribute to supplier selection processes.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Coordinate assigned daily Transportation & Warehouse operational activities
Support key initiatives across the team, actively engaging with all team members.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Supply Chain qualification is beneficial.
Analytical and logical thinker with good problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
Self-motivated and capable of making well informed decisions
Power BI experience is beneficial.
SAP experience is beneficial.
Microsoft Office essential, excel, powerpoint
