Job Description
Steve Noone Landscaping is a long-established landscaping company based in Co. Sligo providing services to the Sligo area and surrounding counties.
Our company primarily specialises in private work ranging from seaside landscapes through to parkland works within SACs, projects ranging in value from €10k to €300k. Generally, the company will complete 20 No €20k - €100k projects per annum.
We strive to deliver work of the highest quality, maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers, and be the market leader in the region.
We build our own designs, whilst also being the chosen contractor by many independent designers to build their designs, providing a build and develop / maintain service.
We are looking to engage with an enthusiastic Landscaper / Paver to join our team.
The role will be primarily in the Sligo area on various sites.
The position is best suited to someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in Landscaping or construction.
This position is a permanent role.
Role
- Working with the Director, the in-house management team, Ground build teams and Clients to develop garden and landscape builds.
- Setting out on site and following project schedules.
- Working within a Team, leading a team, teaching junior staff on projects that involve earth works, drainage, foundations, curbing, fencing, brick / stone paving, block work, plastering, timber work, lawn preparation and installing planting schemes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working as a landscaper, skilled construction trade, with a good all-round skill set, combined with design flair and technical competence.
- Experience in construction detailing would be a requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment, and also on own initiative.
- Strong plant knowledge, not essential as assistance will be provided with this.
- Physical fitness is important as work can be strenuous on occasion.
- A full B driving licence is essential and the role involves diggers, dumpers and construction plant, C and EC licence would be an advantage.
- Safe Pass, Manual handling and relevant tickets would be advantage.
Package
€35k - €50k negotiable based on experience
