About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Group Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our six Accommodation Centres located across the country. The role requires a strong background in residential care management or senior hospitality management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance with HIQA national standards, and adherence to all relevant IPAS policies and procedures. This is a key leadership position involving regular travel, operational oversight, and team support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective daily operation of all six Accommodation Centres.
- Provide ongoing leadership and support to Centre Managers, ensuring consistent standards across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and IPAS guidelines and policies.
- Monitor and improve service delivery, quality assurance, and resident satisfaction.
- Liaise regularly with the Managing Director to report on centre performance, challenges, and improvements.
- Implement and manage standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency across all centres.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of centre staff as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to monitor compliance and operational efficiency.
- Address any operational issues swiftly and professionally.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on health and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior operational or hospitality management role, ideally within a residential or care setting.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory standards including HIQA.
- Experience with IPAS or similar policies and frameworks (desirable but not essential).
- Full clean driving licence – this role requires regular travel to all centres.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Computer Skills – needs to have clear professional communication style for emails and phone use. Strong basic to intermediate word and excel skills required.
- Garda Vetting – must pass Garda Vetting before commencing new position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €50,000.00 per year
