Gymstars, a vibrant recreational gymnastics club in Lucan, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join our team. We coach children aged 3 to teens and participate in Gymnastics Ireland Gymstart events. This is a leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about developing our club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, fun gymnastics classes for children aged 3-14.
- Prepare athletes for Gymnastics Ireland Gymstart competitions.
- Create and implement effective lesson plans, club events and camps.
- Supervise and mentor other coaches, fostering a positive team environment.
- Attend Gymnastics Ireland events and judge when required.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the club.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Gymnastics Ireland qualification or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of coaching experience.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for club development.
- Excellent communication skills, and caring and patient demeanour with children.
- Commitment to undergo Garda Vetting and Safeguarding training.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
