Role:

This role will sit within the ABP Ireland & Affiliates Divisional HR Team in our Head Office in Ardee, Co. Louth. As our Head of Learning & Development, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs across all departments. From onboarding to leadership development, you'll drive a culture of continuous learning and empower our teams to excel in efficiency, operations, and colleague satisfaction.


Key role accountabilities:

Design a Learning and Development strategic plan to support the execution of our overall divisionalbusiness strategy.

Plan for and execute the rollout of our first ever Food Group wide Leadership and Management

Design and execute a plan to strategically embed our new LMS system.

Ensure all departments across the business have a well-considered and executed L&D plan to supportbusiness optimisation and data transformation.

Utilise our new LMS system to digitalise all training and learning records across all sites.

Create a strategic plan on rolling out and embedding our newly defined Leadership Principles.

Utilise data coming from weekly reporting along with employee survey results and insights from focusgroups to create bite sized learning interventions for our front-line management team.

Support HR site managers to create, embed and monitor a site-based L&D plan that adds value andincreases innovation.

Supporting the embedding of a streamlined training matrix for operational teams across all sites.

Cross divisional project work within the L&D space will be a key aspect of this role.


The Person

You are someone who has a passion for shaping and moulding cultural transformation through validated insights, with a passion for training and upskilling others. You are influential and self-motivated with a drive to conclude tasks with pride and precision, who can work independently and under pressure. Candidates should have an excellent work ethic but should also be open and ready to have plenty of fun along the way.


Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience;

5+ years relevant experience in a similar Learning and Development role

Demonstrate affinity with employee learning and learning technologies

Able to design and produce relevant training materials including e-learning courses Familiarity with e-learning platforms

Able to solve problems quickly and resolve issues

Ability to communicate effectively and engage with employees

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Possess analytical ability

Computer literate

Ability to effectively present information to boards of directors, employees, management
