We are looking for dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in the Wexford area. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient, empathetic and have a passion for caring for others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping duties
- Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a care-giving role
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent - must have 2 modules 'Care Skills' and 'Care of the Older Person' at a minimum
- Full driving license and access to a car is desirable, as some of our clients you cannot walk to.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €14.50-€19.00 per hour
