We have vacancies for Health Care Assistants / Assistant Support Worker across all our area of operation, including: Mallow, Mitchelstown, Rockchapel, Charleville and Buttevant.
JOB ROLE/ DUTIES:
- Duties include providing personal care, companionship, shopping, preparing meals, support daily tasks & activities and assist with light household tasks.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Should have QQI Level 5 award in Health Care (or at the very least Care of the Elderly and Care Skills Modules completed) or equivalent but will accept applications from candidates who do not possess the qualification but who are willing to study to attain same.
- Should have Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
- Must be kind, caring, patient and good with people.
- Should be willing to learn and maintain training.
- Must have Good communication skills.
- Should be honest and reliable.
- Should be able to work on their own and as part (generally of a two person) team
