Qualified HGV Mechanic required to work in a busy workshop.
The suitable candidate will be working primarily on new vehicles for our sales department.
Our coaches are built on the Daf 12T, The Iveco 7.2T and the Mercedes 5.5T.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and maintain new HGV vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards before delivery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on DAF 12T, Iveco 7.2T, and Mercedes 5.5T coaches.
- Collaborate with the sales department to ensure vehicles are showroom-ready and meet customer expectations.
- Complete detailed documentation and service reports for each vehicle.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
- Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements
- Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience working with commercial vehicles, ideally with DAF, Iveco, or Mercedes.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Maynooth, County Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
