Accommodation Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading morning briefings and allocation of work in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
- Coordinate work orders in assigned areas and follow up on inspections
- To collect room and floor status report sheets for assigned work areas and assign room to Housekeepers as needed.
- Inspect guest rooms including VIP, vacant, occupied and check-out rooms, to insure the standards are being achieved by each employee.
- To monitor the performance of Room Attendants, House Attendants and Porters so there are sufficient supplies on the guest floor and the hallways, stairwells, elevator, service area, linen stores, equipment (such as vacuum cleaners) and pantries are maintained according to standards.
- To observe uniform and dress standards on a daily basis.
- Follow proper payroll, uniform and key procedures.
- Accurate compliance with the Lost and Found procedures for the hotel.
- Train housekeeping employees in order to achieve the standards of cleanliness in guest rooms.
- Make recommendations and follow through on conflict resolution, coaching and counselling, and, when appropriate, disciplinary action for assigned staff.
- Deliver and receive in a professional manner all constructive and corrective feedback for development of self and the team.
- Highlight areas of personal development and recommend training required to achieve personal career goals.
- Value the contribution of all within the team and take all opportunities to recognise and celebrate positive feedback and departmental successes.
- Provide excellent guest service in all areas of responsibility.
- Monitor and direct progress of housekeepers and house persons in rooms that are undergoing deep cleaning.
- To provide excellent guest service in all areas of responsibility.
- To maintain the upkeep of all bedspreads, draperies, carpet cleaning, sheers, valances and furniture refurbishing.
- Maintain a high level of employee morale.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- To perform appraisals.
- Show good customer relations (greeting guests, handling guest complaints, and offering any assistance possible.

Pay: €15.00-€15.90 per hour
