We are looking for an experienced and motivated Installation & Maintenance Operative to join our team in Galway.
Responsibilities:
Assist with installation and commissioning of water treatment, pumping, or drainage systems
Carry out scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs to equipment and site infrastructure
Operate plant machinery and tools safely and effectively to complete daily site tasks
Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
Support site supervisors with general labour and operational duties where required
Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at all times
Keep accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and daily site activities
Maintain a professional approach with colleagues and customers on-site
Requirements:
Previous experience as a General Operative, Site Technician, or Maintenance Operative (essential)
Strong understanding of site operations including drainage, groundworks, or utilities
Competent in safe use of plant machinery and hand tools
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (essential)
Confined space training and/or plant machinery tickets (advantageous)
Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge (beneficial)
Full, clean driving licence (truck licence an advantage)
Ability to work under minimal supervision and within a team environment
Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach

Pay: €31,394.94-€54,921.12 per year
