Mk Illumination Ireland Ltd. provides and installs Christmas Lights for towns, businesses and shopping centres across Ireland. We are recruiting a number of people for roles which will begin in mid-October approximately and run for, in the region of, 6 weeks. On average, the successful candidates will work 40-60 hours per week. Each team will be guided by an experienced installer.
The job is the installation of Christmas displays and lighting in shopping centres and public spaces. The work takes place at night time and at weekends and includes working at heights.
LOCATION
Based in Dublin, but some travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
· Must have your own transport
· Up to date Manual handling certificate
· Up to date MEWP certificate, 3A3B, ideally with experience of using them
· Experience in electrical work, scaffolding, rigging etc will be an advantage
· Ideally have familiarity with tools used in lighting installation, have an understanding of lighting technologies including LED and traditional fixtures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the installation of various lighting fixtures in industrial and commercial settings
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Support the team in performing electrical connections under the guidance of senior installers
- Loading and unloading of stock
