Job Description
Jurassic Newpark is recruiting for outdoor cleaning staff. They will be responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in their assigned areas i.e. picnic areas/toilets/public areas/outdoor walking trails/Jurassic Bounce and for reporting any maintenance issues to the Supervisor/Manager on duty. Occasional deep cleaning within staff areas inside the hotel will be part of the duties.
Main Responsibilities:
- To keep bins emptied, the park clear of litter, the toilets clean and replenished regularly, the picnic areas and seating areas clean and tidy, and generally ensure all outdoor spaces are pristine.
- To ensure all wastebins are emptied regularly and washed out, and recycling separated.
- To clean assigned areas to the highest standards, using only approved chemicals/cleaning materials and equipment, and to ensure stocks of bathroom and sanitary items are replenished to correct standards.
- To ensure cloths, towels and linens are brought to laundry and collected in speedy and accurate fashion.
- To ensure any visitor property left behind is passed to the Operations Manager.
- To actively participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.
- To carry out the hotel’s customer relation policy.
- To communicate hotel services to guests.
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Ideally have worked in an outdoor environment
- A natural ability to ensure that each visitor to Jurassic Newpark is made to feel welcomed and that their expectations are exceeded.
- Proven track record of excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Good grasp of English (B1 proficiency minimum)
- Flexibility to work midweek & weekends
