Treacy’s Pub and Restaurant, a long established landmark outside Portlaoise, is a busy top rated 100 seat restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We are now hiring a Full-time Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Treacy's is part of the Failte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme and has been recognised as a 'Great Place to Work'. You will be part of an experienced and dynamic team, with opportunities to progess in a professional kitchen.
The role involves;
- Assisting with starters and vegetable preparation
- Making sandwiches and plating desserts
- Wash up duties in a busy kitchen
- Keeping kitchen clean and tidy
- Operating dishwasher
- Carrying out cleaning tasks as per the schedule
The right candidate will have;
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A positive attitude
- A strong work ethic and pace to work in a very busy kitchen
- Ability to take instruction
- Great team working skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of HACCAP an advantage
Previous experience in food preperation and/or supervision an advantage, and will be reflected in salary.
