Woodale on the lookout for a skilled, hands-on Kitchen Fitter / Installer who knows their way around a set of drawings, has an eye for detail. You will be responsible for installing kitchens to a high standard, whether it’s part of a new build project, renovation, or bespoke high-end kitchen install.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret kitchen plans, CAD drawings and specifications.
- Install cabinets to a high level of detail and finish.
- Handle site prep, minor joinery, and adjustments as needed (scribing, leveling, cutting etc.).
- Collaborate with other trades (plumbers, sparkies, tilers) to keep things running smooth.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on-site – quickly and without fuss.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, contractors, and project managers.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience as a kitchen fitter, carpenter, or joiner (5+ years preferred).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to top-quality workmanship.
- Full driving licence (ideally with your own van – but not a deal-breaker).
- CSCS Card (preferred for site work, but not always essential).
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
