Role Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You’ll support our chefs and catering team by ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean, organised, and operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and maintaining all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Ensuring all areas of the kitchen are kept clean, tidy, and safe
- Managing waste and recycling in line with procedures
- Supporting chefs and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work 5 days over 7, including evenings and weekends
