Role Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our hardworking kitchen team at Aunty Lena’s. This is a vital back-of-house role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and supporting a busy kitchen environment. This is a full-time position, paid at €13.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required
- Ensure dishwashing areas are kept clean and organised
- Manage waste and recycling in accordance with hygiene standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including HACCP
- Work efficiently to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, especially during busy service times
Qualifications:
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work hard
- Ability to work well in a team and take instruction
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
- Weekend availability essential
