Part-time vacancy for a kitchen porter/cleaner in a busy restaurant. Experience is not essential. Applicants should have good English, a good standard of personal hygiene and be capable of working efficiently on their own initiative and as part of a team. This position requires an average of 15-20 hours per week, with the ability to work weekdays and one weekend day.
To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work as part of the team with the Head Chef and the Customer service staff to provide high standards.
· To follow the HACCP programme to ensure effective standards in line with hygiene and quality regulations.
· To ensure regular and systematic cleaning in the kitchen and front of the house.
· Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask.
Requirements:
· Experienced and trained on HACCP (if not training provided)
· Excellent communication,
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
· Be flexible as evenings, weekdays & weekends
