The Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter who also has the ability to assist with basic cooking duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain more kitchen experience or who already has some culinary skills and wants to be part of a professional and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food prep and basic cooking as directed by the Head Chef
- Ensure hygiene and health & safety standards are upheld
- Support chefs during busy service times
- Receive and store deliveries appropriately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on cooking tasks as needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude and interest in food and hospitality
