About the roleThe Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We’re looking for a Complaints Legal Counsel (12-month FTC) to handle incoming customer complaints for external dispute resolution platforms. You’ll work on early stages of litigation, pre-action letters, and responses to claims. In addition, you'll provide day-to-day legal advice as a business partner to key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing- Running internal fact-finding investigations.
- Handling external dispute resolution complaints in accordance with the local law and regulation and other relevant complaints.
- Representing Revolut before external dispute resolution forums.
- Working on early stage or less complex litigation, such as pre-action letters, responses to claims, case reviews.
- Assisting the Disputes Legal Team and Legal Counsels working at Revolut EEA branches with ad hoc work and advice.
- Identifying, analysing, resolving issues and helping to implement improvements, not only team-wide but company-wide as well.
- Analysing case outcomes to identify Revolut’s weak points in order to remediate them.
- Setting up (improving) internal procedures.
- Actively contributing to the culture where the fair treatment of customers is a priority.
- Seeking to go above and beyond the role by taking real ownership of problems, policies or procedures from end-to-end.
- Cooperating closely with other departments during case investigations.
- A bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent in Ireland
- Legal experience as a private-practice lawyer dealing with financial services
- Fluency in English with exceptional communication and writing skills
- An analytical mindset to investigate and get to the root of a problem
- To be resourceful to know where and how to obtain relevant information
- Strategic thinking skills to know when and how to best utilise means of redress (e.g., refunds and negotiations)
- Solid problem-solving skills to use analysis and resources efficiently to resolve complex cases
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to excel both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrable ability to work in fast-paced environments and make sound judgements under tight deadlines
- Solicitor’s qualification in Ireland
- Fluency in any other European language
- In-house experience
- Experience in all stages of litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory matters
