As a Linen Porter, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Housekeeper and keep things running like clockwork. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be making sure that linen is fully stocked and distributed among the departments and working as part of a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations.
Here are some of the key responsibilities for a Linen Porter:
- Assisting with guests’ requests: you’ll make every stay memorable by supporting with VIP rooms, baby cots, etc.
- Communicating and collaborating with the Housekeeping Supervisors
- Ensuring linen chutes and linen stores are tidy and fit for use

The magnificent g Hotel Spa opened to great fanfare in November 2005. Situated on the banks of Lough Atalia and just five minutes from the centre of one of Europe’s most vibrant and popular cities, to this day it remains the only luxurious, 5-star experience in this iconic city.
One of the many jaw-dropping features in our Grand Salon is the incredible mirrored lighting display, these 200 individual twinkling lights are designed to represent a burst of water bubbles. Behind it, sits a huge shimmering silver wall tile feature, reminiscent of the patterns seen in sand left by ripples of the water.
