Euroroute has an immediate availability for a Logistics Co-Ordinator.
Your role will include the following Duties/Responsibilities:
Dealing with our clients across a range of business sectors, by phone and e-mail, in a positive and professional manner.
Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as stock management, order processing, order fulfilment, device configuration, order scheduling, shipment planning, expediting freight consignments, transport and updating transactions on our warehouse management system.
Expedite the movement of goods and services to maximize value and minimize costs.
Co-ordinate availability and allocation of materials, supplies and finished products.
Cooperate with other colleagues to meet customer requirements and to take advantage of business development opportunities. Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Making decisions and solving problems. Analysing information, compiling, categorizing, calculating, verifying information or data and evaluating results to choose the best solutions.
Contribute to team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance and ensuring availability of resources. Communicating with colleagues, Operations Manager and other members of the management team. Developing positive working relationships with all team members and maintaining them over time.
Implement plans, schedules and compliance with our Quality management and Health & Safety policies.
Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met. Maintain and develop positive business relationships with customer's key personnel.
Monitor and measure subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals and performance specifications, and serving as liaison with subcontractors and service providers.
As our business is customer driven you will be required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the company from time to time. Any such changes will be discussed and agreed prior to implementation.
This full time role is available immediately and is based at our logistics centre in Ballycoolin, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. There is plenty of parking on site.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role in Ireland, must be fluent in English, and be competent using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.) on a daily basis. Candidates must have a professional telephone manner
The role is Monday – Friday 0900-17.30 hours
