Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Electrician at Foamalite Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and electrical systems as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant diploma or equivalent apprenticeship qualification in electrical maintenance.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
