Afterschool Manager (Part-Time)
Hours: 20 hours per week (Mon–Fri afternoons, with occasional planning hours) 8:30am - 9:15am and 2pm - 5pm
Pay: €16.50 – €18.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Role Overview:
The Breakfast & Afterschool Manager will lead the daily operation of our breakfast and afterschool service, ensuring a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children. This role involves staff supervision, activity planning, and close collaboration with families and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day running of the breakfast and afterschool service
- Supervise and support assistant staff
- Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate activities
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children
- Maintain accurate records, attendance, and reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and management
- Ensure compliance with Tusla and Childcare Regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent (Level 7/8 an advantage)
- Experience working in a childcare or school-age childcare setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- First Aid, Children First, and Manual Handling training (can be provided)
Afterschool Assistant (Part-Time)
Hours: 15–25 hours per week (Mon–Fri afternoons)
Pay: €13.50 – €15.50 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Location: Cooneal and Ardagh area
Role Overview:
The Afterschool Assistant will support the delivery of a fun and stimulating afterschool environment, assisting with supervision, activities, and snack time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Assist with delivery of planned activities and games
- Support with homework time where applicable
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Help with cleaning, tidying, and setting up the environment
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or working toward)
- Previous experience with children in a group setting is desirable
- Friendly, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
- First Aid, Children First, and Manual Handling training (can be provided)
