Role Objective

This is a 360° marketing role built for a proactive, hands-on marketer who thrives in a trade-driven, volume-focused business. You will play a pivotal role in driving awareness, footfall, and sales across our wholesale operation. This isn’t about pushing pretty pictures—it’s about smart, strategic marketing that speaks directly to our trade customers.

From pricing campaigns and trade flyers to digital promotions and in-store activation, you will lead initiatives that drive volume, build loyalty, and position us as the go-to destination for value and variety. Fresh ideas are your currency, and staying ahead of the curve is second nature.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

· Develop and manage the full-year marketing calendar, aligned with sales cycles, seasonal trends, and wholesale buying behaviour.

· Lead promotional campaigns tailored to wholesale buyers—highlighting offers, volume discounts, and seasonal deals.

· Create marketing plans that support business objectives: driving footfall, increasing order volume, and boosting customer retention.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring marketing initiatives stay on track and within budget.

2. Digital Marketing & Online Presence

· Manage and optimize all digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and media campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).

· Create, schedule, and oversee engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.) and monitor engagement.

· Drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention through digital initiatives and promotions.

· Implement SEO best practices and continually optimize the website for search visibility.

3. Content Creation & Management

· Create marketing materials including flyers, product sheets, promotional posters, WhatsApp creatives, banners, and bulk offer lists.

· Maintain category landing pages, update offers and pricing, and improve customer navigation and user experience.

· Create and post regular content (graphics, offers, stories, reels, short videos) relevant to the wholesale customer.

4. Customer Communications & CRM

· Build and manage databases for trade customer communications (email, WhatsApp, SMS).

· Send out regular communications about new arrivals, price drops, limited-time offers, and seasonal campaigns.

· Create customer segmentation strategies and targeted campaigns for key business types.

5. Market Research & Trend Analysis

· Continuously research customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to inform campaign strategies.

· Analyze data from digital platforms to track ROI, customer behavior, and engagement, adjusting campaigns for maximum impact.

6. Reporting & Analytics

· Track and report on key marketing metrics (KPIs) including website traffic, social media engagement, and customer response, sales impact.

· Prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights for senior leadership.

· Leverage analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and refine them accordingly.

7. Event & Promotion Planning

· Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional events, both in-store and online, such as flash sales, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

· Identify strategic partnerships and opportunities for brand collaborations to enhance visibility and reach.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a creative, social media or a hands-on marketing role.

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and design software like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics and other marketing platforms.

· Experience in planning and delivering marketing campaigns in retail environment or similar.

· Ability to manage budgets across multiple projects.

· Experience managing and juggling multiple projects and working cross functionality.

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

· Passion for retail, design, branding, innovation and consumer behaviour.

· Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

Advantageous, but not essential

· Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

· Operational experience with eCommerce platforms, Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management systems favourable but not required.
